CSK and RR Out From IPL season
CSk and RR Ipl Teams Kick off

A selection of Supreme Court of India, headed by the retired ex Chief Justice of India RM Lodha, has suspended IPL team Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals for 2 years from participating in the IPL. SC also forbade official in Chennai Super Kings and co-owner of Rajasthan Royals Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra respectively life from cricket and maintain any kind of association with BCCI.

Stating that both Gurunath and Raj Kundra has acted against the spirit of cricket and damaged confidence BCCI, the Supreme Court today said both leaders in Hotshot IPL team guilty of misconduct. RM Lodha said that Raj was betting on IPL matches through a punter, and he was constantly in touch with bookmakers. Raj has been declared ineligible to participate in any form of cricket for five years.

On the other hand, the former CJI said that Gurunath violated anti-corruption code by betting. The CSK boss suffered a loss of 60 lakh in betting, but damage to the cricket by Gurunath is much more compared to his loss. Gurunath has been suspended from participating in any form of cricket for life.
